Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information AIWearHQ collects, why it’s used and the choices available to you.
Who is responsible for your information
AIWearHQ is an independent UK publication operated by AIHQ media. AIWearHQ is the data controller for personal information collected directly through this website.
Privacy questions can be sent to contact@AiWearHQ.com.
Information we collect
If you use the contact form or email AIWearHQ directly, we receive the information you choose to provide. This normally includes your name, email address, subject and message, together with any information or attachments you include.
The website’s hosting and security systems may also process technical information such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested URLs, timestamps and error or security logs. This information is used to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the website.
With your consent, Google Analytics may collect page and interaction data, browser and device information, approximate location and a pseudonymous browser identifier. Google says individual UK IP addresses aren’t logged or stored: they’re used to derive broad location information and discarded before the data is logged.
AIWearHQ doesn’t currently offer public user accounts or a marketing mailing list, and we don’t sell personal information.
How we use personal information
We use contact details and correspondence to respond to enquiries, investigate corrections, assess product suggestions, handle commercial discussions and keep an appropriate record of the conversation.
We use technical information where necessary to operate the website, prevent misuse, investigate faults and maintain security. Consent-based analytics helps us understand which coverage readers use and where the website needs improvement.
Our lawful basis
We normally rely on legitimate interests to respond to genuine enquiries, manage editorial and commercial correspondence, run the publication and protect the website. Where a request concerns steps towards a contract, that processing may also be necessary before entering into the contract. Optional analytics is used only after consent, which can be changed or withdrawn through the website’s cookie controls.
Who receives the information
AIWearHQ uses service providers to host the website, operate email, process the contact form and measure consented site use. The website is hosted by IONOS and uses WordPress, WPForms, Google Site Kit and Google Analytics. Complianz provides the consent controls, while WP Consent API passes those choices to compatible WordPress services.
Providers process information only as needed to supply and secure their services, subject to their own legal responsibilities. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect legal rights or to investigate a serious security or fraud concern. We don’t provide contact-form details to advertisers or sell them to data brokers.
International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we expect the relevant provider to use an approved adequacy route or appropriate contractual safeguards.
How long information is kept
We keep personal information only for as long as it’s reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, including responding to an enquiry, maintaining an editorial or commercial record, meeting legal obligations and resolving disputes. Security, server and analytics data is retained according to the relevant service settings and provider schedules.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you the right to ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer, or to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
Contact contact@AiWearHQ.com to make a request. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
External and commercial links
Articles may link to manufacturers, retailers and other external websites. Those are currently ordinary editorial links and AIWearHQ doesn’t earn a commission from them. Once you follow an external link, that website controls its own collection and use of information.
If affiliate links are introduced later, this policy and the Affiliate Disclosure will be updated. AIWearHQ doesn’t receive your payment-card details.
Cookies
Our Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used by the website.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when the website’s services or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
